Egg-cellent Egg Aprons

Image
I crocheted these Mother/Daughter coordinating Egg-cellent Egg Aprons in camouflage. I LOVE how they turned out! I used Red Heart Super Saver in the color Camouflage and Caron One Pound in the color Forest Floor. You can find the free pattern for the adult size  here  and the kid size  here .

Poop Ducks

Image
It's Poop Duck season at my house. Poop ducks are a family legacy. My mom started crocheting these when I was a kid. She didn't use a pattern. When I was in my early twenties she showed me how to crochet them, we still do not have a written pattern and prefer to show our children/grandchildren how to make these in person. These are some of my recent duckies so far this year... Specialty Camo Duck Specialty Duck--Teenage Mutant Ninja Poop Duck

Baby Mermaid Tail Cocoon  Crochet Pattern Mermaid Cocoon Tucked  Mermaid Cocoon Untucked I crocheted this baby mermaid tail cocoon recently and I love the way it turned out. I started out at first by using the crocodile stitch but thought that stitch might get baby's toes stuck in it, so I started searching for a tighter stitch that still looks like scales and I came across this free  pattern  that I altered a bit. I crocheted through round 30. It was about 22" long before the waist and fin were added. I used Bernat Happy Holidays yarn in the color Glittery Green. I used just under 7 ounces (2 skeins). As you can see I designed my own fin for this tail and also did my own stitch around the waist decreasing each round. I have crocheted this fin a few times now but have yet to write out the pattern for it. I will update this pattern when I make another one with the fin and waist pattern.
